Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Trieste on 07/11/1989 at the Neurological Clinic with a thesis on "Leukoaraiosis".

Licensed to practice medical profession in the second session of the year 1989 at the University of Bologna.

Specialised in Psychiatry 22/12/1994 at the Psychiatric Clinic of the University of Trieste with a thesis on depressive symptoms in schizophrenia'.

Graduated in 1994 from the four-year training course in Psychosomatic Medicine and Brief Psychotherapies, held in collaboration between the Trieste Psychiatric Clinic and the Riza Institute in Milan, with a thesis on 'The roots of the problem'.

Degree in M.T.C. from the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine "Giuseppe Tucci "(Is.Me.Ci.T.) in Rome in 1992 and from the Italian Acupuncture and Moxibustion Association (A.N.I.A.M.) in Bologna in 1996.

Graduated from the Italian Association of Phytotherapy and Phytopharmacology (A.I.F.F.) in Bologna in 2004.

Registered in the Register of Surgeons of the Province of Udine since January 1990, transferred to that of the Province of Bologna since December 1998, transferred to that of the Province of Trieste since June 2013 and recognised by the latter as Doctor expert in Acupuncture and Doctor expert in Phytotherapy.

From 1993 to 1996 he served as a tenured Psychiatry Assistant at the Mental Health Department of USL No. 8 Bassa Friulana.

Member of the Executive Board of the Italian Acupuncture and Moxibustion Association since 1994 and of the Italian Federation of Acupuncture Societies since 2004.
