Specialisation in Cardiology obtained on 03/08/2011 at the University of Trieste with discussion of the experimental thesis "Cardiac tamponade from pericardial effusion: focus on neoplastic aetiology in a consecutive series of patients admitted to the NICU in the three-year period 2007-2009" with a 45/50 grade.

In 2013 Certification of Competence in  General Cardiovascular Ultrasound issued by the Italian Society of Cardiovascular Ultrasound (SIEC).
