Dr. Pagliani graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 1999 and specialised in Ophthalmology at the same university in 2003. During his specialisation years, he completed a Master's degree in Evidence-Based Medicine at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (2010), attended the Jules Gonin Eye Hospital in Lausanne as a Visiting Doctor (2002/2003) and was Head of the Information Technology Service of the Ophthalmology Clinic in Modena. Between the years 2006 and 2010, he worked as a Medical Director at the Ophthalmology O.U. at the New Sassuolo Hospital and, from 2004 to the present day, he has been an outpatient specialist in the branch of ophthalmology at the Pavullo AUSL Modena district. Currently, Dr. Pagliani's surgical activity is performed at private clinics and includes anterior segment surgery on the main corneal pathologies, senile cataract, presbyopia and glaucoma. He performs intravitreal injections with any molecule and anti-VEGF for age-related macular degeneration; he also performs intravitreal injections with steroid drugs in macular oedema (in the aftermath of laser treatments for diabetic retinopathy, inflammatory pathologies and vascular occlusions, etc.). Dr. Pagliani practises in free practice at several outpatient clinics in Modena (and province) and Reggio Emilia.
