- 1980 he specialised in Internal Medicine at the University of Padua with a score of 65/70.
- 1984 he specialised in Nephrology at the University of Trieste with a score of 70/70 cum laude.

Curriculum of university studies and professional activities carried out in public or accredited private facilities:

- 1977/1978 served in the military as a medical officer and head of the health service of Btg.Valles.
- 1978 he held the position of Assistant in the Dialysis Department of the OC of Castelfranco.
- 1979 worked as an Assistant in the Nephrology and Dialysis Department of the Civil Hospital of Udine.
- 1989 he was appointed co-responsible assistant in the same department.
- 1997 he took up service, with the same qualification, at the ASS 4 'Medio Friuli' .
- 1999 he was appointed Level II Medical Director in charge of the Unit of Nephrology and Dialysis of ASS 4, a position later changed to SOC Director
- 2004 and was reappointed as SOC Director for five years in 2009.
- 2012 resigned due to retirement
-1986 Awarded the qualification of Chief of Nephrology in the session for the year with a score of 93/100, ranking 11th out of 166 eligible candidates.
- From 1978 to 1995 he was a lecturer at the nursing schools in Udine, Cividale and San Daniele.
- He has participated in 3 polycentric studies on darbopoietin and 2 on alternative dialysis methods (HFR and AFB), 1 pharmacological, 2 epidemiological.
- He coordinated a polycentric study on sleep disorders in haemodialysis in 2002.
- He was a lecturer and organiser for courses for nurses in Udine, Bologna, Trieste, Pordenone and for MG doctors in Udine in 1997 and 2004.
- From 2007 to 2012, he was the director of the FVG dialysis and transplantation register on behalf of the regional government.
- 2008 he was the FVG regional contact person of the SIN.

- He attended the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Padua.
- 1975 he graduated in Medicine and Surgery with a mark of 110/110 cum laude with a thesis entitled ' The Secretin and Pancreozimin test in the study of diseases of the exocrine pancreas".
- 1976 passed the state examination for professional qualification at the University of Padua.
